System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator Job in IBM -  Arlington, USA 

This position is for a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator to support a technology refresh project within a high availability production system on a Federal services contract. The position will involve the build out of SCCM 2012 and the management of both SCCM 2007 and 2012 hierarchies, client maintenance, software distribution, and patch management. The candidate will work closely with network, application, and middleware teams to support product installations, customizations, and deployments. The candidate will also help to manage and maintain the ePO, WinMagic SecureDoc infrastructure. Familiarity with scripting technologies such as VBScript and/or Powershell is required. Familiarity with creation of custom SQL queries is also required. Off-shift coverage may be required for on-call support of systems and maintenance work in supported change windows. Work will be performed out of the client’s facilities in Arlington, VA and Washington DC. Opportunities for telework may be available.This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance of Top Secret. The selected candidate may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, the candidate must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 3 years experience in management of a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure to include SCCM servers and client systems
• At least 3 years experience in using SCCM to perform patch management and software distribution
• At least 3 years experience in managing Windows systems, including Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and Windows 7
• At least 3 years experience in building, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows systems in multi tenant enterprise environments
• At least 1 year experience in utilizing VBScript/Powershell to automate common functions
• At least 1 year experience in creating Structured Query Language (SQL) queries
• At least 1 year experience in ePO, WinMagic or other full disk encryption software

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• At least 5 years experience in management of a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure to include SCCM servers and client systems
• At least 5 years experience in using SCCM to perform patch management and software distribution
• At least 5 years experience in managing Windows systems, including Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and Windows 7
• At least 5 years experience in building, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows systems in multi tenant enterprise environments
• At least 3 years experience in utilizing VBScript/Powershell to automate common functions
